Vizient Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. is an industry leader in robotic integration solutions. All of its products are engineered and manufactured in-house with the help of Torchmate 4800s which allows the company complete control over product quality and project timelines. 

The introduction of the Torchmate 4800 has made a significant impact on Vizient’s business. It can now fabricate over 95% of the product in house. VMS is able to do rapid prototyping and no longer has to outsource any parts which has increased efficiency and profits.

Shawn Zahradka, operations manager of Vizient, highlighted some qualities of the Torchmate 4800 that stand out to the company.

“The Torchmate 4800 has ease-of-use, quick changeover, the ability to change operators mid-shift and change parts mid-shift. It fits our business model well.”

Along with the benefits of saving time and money, VMS has seen a large increase in its business capabilities with the addition of the Torchmate machine. The company utilizes its Torchmate table daily to produce both complex and simple parts. The Torchmate table has opened all kinds of new possibilities for the business.

Simplicity & Functionality 

Vizient was yet another company that emphasized the incredibly easy setup of the machine as well as the Torchmate University videos.

The chief operator of the Torchmate 4800, Mike Parr, described what he likes about the machine and how it has benefited the company.

“The table itself is extremely easy to use straight out of the box. We were cutting on it in about two hours. The Torchmate University videos that have been extremely helpful with the entire process. We use the table for multiple things whether it be just a one piece prototype to a mass production of a 4x8 3/8 sheet of steel. We added the Flexcut 125 onto the 4800 to increase the variety of material we can cut, from 26 gauge, all the way up to 1inch. What I love about having the 4800 is that we can, instead of outsourcing all the materials that we normally cut on, now bring that in-house and save time and money.”
